Our work focuses on providing safe, compassionate, front-line support for women and families affected by domestic abuse. We work at the pace of the individual, recognising fear, silence, and the long-term impact of trauma.
Sanctuary Keepers delivers free community workshops focused on women’s wellbeing, domestic abuse awareness, and pathways to support.
These sessions are designed to be safe, accessible, and informative. They help participants understand what domestic abuse is, how to recognise the signs, and how to respond if someone discloses abuse.
Our workshops are informed by lived experience, research, and engagement with statutory services, charities, councils, and churches. They also create space for communities to share insights about what support is available, what barriers exist, and what additional help would be meaningful.
Workshops are free to attend, open to women from faith and local communities, and delivered in community venues. Attendance does not require personal disclosure.
